A well-established, forward-thinking organization is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to lead and elevate its receivables operations. This full-time, onsite role in Sarasota offers the opportunity to shape processes, mentor team members, and make a direct impact on financial performance across multiple business units.
What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day accounts receivable operations, including invoicing, payment application, and account reconciliation
- Guide and support a small AR team, fostering growth and accountability
- Manage collections and customer communications with professionalism and tact
- Monitor aging reports and drive resolution of outstanding balances
- Prepare weekly cash forecasts and contribute to financial reporting
- Assist with customer onboarding, credit evaluations, and account setup
- Ensure accuracy in intercompany transactions and general ledger alignment
- Maintain audit readiness and uphold internal controls
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve AR workflows and client experience
- Recommend and implement process enhancements for greater efficiency
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on AR experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- High attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
